Last updated: May 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how ReVive collects, uses, stores, and shares information connected to the ReVive service.
Scope of this Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ReVive handles information when you use the ReVive iOS application, the ReVive website, and related product features or support services.
This document is meant to describe what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, when we may share it, and what choices you may have.
Key Terms
Account means the profile used to access ReVive.
App means the ReVive iOS application, including updates and in-app features.
Personal Data means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you.
Usage Data means technical or behavioral information collected automatically when the Service is used.
User Content means the photos, text, scans, recycling entries, notes, or related materials you submit through ReVive.
Service means the App, the Website, and related tools or support functions operated under ReVive.
What information you may provide
When you create or use an account, you may provide information such as your name, email address, profile details, support messages, and account credentials.
You may also provide content tied to the product experience, including scan submissions, recycling activity, manually entered progress information, preferences, and related notes.
If a feature relies on a photo or image you upload, that image becomes User Content covered by this Policy.
What we collect automatically
We may automatically collect technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, identifiers, timestamps, diagnostics, crash reports, and feature usage analytics.
The Website may use cookies or similar technologies for security, basic functionality, measurement, and product improvement.
Why ReVive uses this information
We use information to run the Service, support scan-related workflows, maintain account functionality, remember settings, measure product performance, detect abuse, and improve reliability.
We also use information to respond to support requests, communicate service notices, troubleshoot issues, and improve the overall user experience.
Where appropriate, we may use aggregated or de-identified information to improve internal systems, evaluate product quality, or refine product behavior.
How photos, scans, and entries are handled
ReVive uses User Content to provide the product features you choose to use.
Submitted scans, images, and entries may be reviewed or processed internally for functionality, debugging, quality control, safety review, and product improvement.
We may use de-identified or aggregated content patterns for internal evaluation and improvement, but we do not intend to publicly identify you from that content.
We do not publicly display private submitted content unless you intentionally use a feature that makes content visible or you otherwise consent.
When information may be shared
We may share information with vendors or service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, maintain, or support the Service.
We may disclose information where necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, investigate fraud or security issues, or protect users, the Service, or our rights.
If ReVive is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that process, subject to applicable law.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.
We do not sell your Personal Data.
How long information is kept
We keep account and product data for as long as reasonably needed to operate the Service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal or security obligations.
Some technical logs, diagnostics, and backups may remain for limited periods even after account changes or deletion requests.
When information is no longer needed, we may delete it, anonymize it, or retain only what is required for legal, operational, or security purposes.
Your choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access to certain Personal Data, request correction, request deletion, request export, or object to or restrict certain processing.
You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, subject to legal and technical limitations.
Some requests may be limited where we must retain information for fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, or legitimate internal operations.
Security and storage
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to help protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No internet-based product or storage environment can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
Information may be processed or stored in jurisdictions outside your home location, and where required we use reasonable safeguards for those transfers.
Children and third-party services
ReVive is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13.
The Service may contain links to third-party services or depend on third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store. Those third parties control their own privacy practices.
Changes and contact
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions become effective when posted unless otherwise stated.
